Systemic individual, couples and family therapy — for adults, children and adolescents. I accompany you on your path to greater clarity, connection and quality of life.

Psychotherapist · Child & Adolescent Therapist · Psycho-Oncologist
Depending on your needs, I offer different settings — individual, as a couple, or as a family.
Personal development, self-exploration or individual therapy for anyone who wishes to work through their concerns in a safe and confidential setting.
Working together on communication, relationship dynamics and conflict — in an individual setting or as a co-therapy with my colleague Pia Födinger.
Because everything is connected. In a family context, sessions can involve the whole family together or individual members in rotation.
In my specialist practice I give children and young people a voice, place them at the centre and explore their perspective within the family context.

Treatment
We will also discuss your expectations, the goals you are aiming for, and the personal changes you would like to achieve through therapy. Together we will consider how realistic these goals are and whether they fall within your own capacity for change. This step is intended to prevent potential disappointment — because therapy can only be successful if you actively participate in shaping it and see yourself as co-responsible for the desired changes.
Psychotherapy is not always comfortable. It can involve phases that feel quite demanding. Many people find that changing their attitudes, beliefs, feelings and behaviour is harder than they initially expected. But that is precisely the aim of psychotherapy. It is therefore important that you yourself are convinced that this treatment is necessary and meaningful for you.
Throughout the ongoing therapy process, we will regularly review which goals you have already achieved — and which you have not yet — in order to adjust the further therapy plan accordingly.
For holistic care I work together with a network of specialist colleagues and organisations.

I work at two locations — in Vienna and in Klosterneuburg.
Answers to the most important questions about therapy, the process and costs.
The need for psychotherapy depends primarily on your own subjective experience. Often all it takes is a sense of distress, a need to talk, or a desire for change. A formal diagnosis may be present, but is not required.
The more clearly a therapy goal can be defined, the better the progress can be tracked and the outcome evaluated.
Yes, I also offer online therapy by video. This is particularly convenient when an in-person appointment is not possible — for example due to illness, work travel, or distance from the practice.
Confidentiality, structure and session length are identical to an in-person session. Whether online therapy is suitable for your needs is something we can discuss in an initial consultation.
Therapy should be a relief, not an additional burden. That is why I also offer a reduced social rate — details can be discussed in the initial consultation.
At the Klosterneuburg location, fully covered health insurance places for children, adolescents and rehabilitation patients may also be available depending on capacity.
I work as a certified systemic psychotherapist and registered child and adolescent therapist with all age groups from 0 to 99.
Once you as a young person are considered capable of insight and judgement — typically from the age of 14 — you can decide on therapy independently.
I am bound by a duty of confidentiality. This can only be waived in writing by the client themselves. The sole exception applies if the life of the client or another person is in acute danger.
A basic requirement for couples therapy is that both partners agree to participate. This does not necessarily mean that both must be present at every session.
Voluntary participation is always a prerequisite for psychotherapy, unless it has been ordered by a court or institution.
Everything you need to know about costs, reimbursement and payment options.
A partial reimbursement may be granted by applying to your health insurance fund following my psychotherapeutic assessment.
